OTWO and the Gibraltar Federation of Small Businesses have announced Marble Arc as the winner of the 2026 World Environment Day Shop Window Competition.

A statement from the Government follows below:

OTWO and the Gibraltar Federation of Small Businesses (GFSB) are delighted to announce that Marble  Arc has been named the winner of the 2026 World Environment Day Shop Window Competition, marking  an impressive second consecutive victory for the business following its success in 2025.

The competition, held annually as part of World Environment Day celebrations, continues to encourage  businesses across Gibraltar to showcase their creativity while promoting environmental awareness and  sustainable practices. The initiative aims to demonstrate that sustainability can be integrated into all  aspects of business, including visual merchandising, customer engagement, and everyday decision-making.

This year's competition saw an exceptionally high standard of entries, with the three finalists being: Marble Arc – Winner

OTWO and GFSB would like to congratulate all finalists and thank every participating business for their  enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to environmental sustainability. Since its inception, the World  Environment Day Shop Window Competition has celebrated businesses that use their shopfronts as a  platform to inspire environmental action and awareness within the community.

Previous winners include:

2023 – Trusted Novus Bank (the inaugural competition winner)

2024 – The Cellar by Saccone & Speed

2025 – Marble Arc

2026 – Marble Arc

The competition has grown into an important annual event that demonstrates how businesses can play a  meaningful role in promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility. The purpose of the  competition extends far beyond creating attractive displays. It serves as a reminder that environmental  sustainability should remain at the forefront of decision-making across all sectors of society. Whether designing a shop window, developing business policies, launching new products, or planning  future growth, sustainability should be a key consideration. Through creative displays, businesses have the  opportunity to engage the public, spark conversations, and inspire positive environmental action.

OTWO and GFSB firmly believe that creating a sustainable future requires collective effort from  businesses, organisations, government bodies, and the wider community. The Shop Window Competition  provides an accessible and engaging platform for businesses to demonstrate their commitment to these  shared goals.

The World Environment Day Shop Window Competition is delivered through a successful partnership  between OTWO and GFSB, combining their shared commitment to supporting local businesses while  encouraging environmental responsibility throughout Gibraltar.

The competition remains free to enter, ensuring that businesses of all sizes can participate and contribute to  raising awareness of sustainability issues within the community.

In addition to the positive exposure associated with the competition, participants have the opportunity to  win a range of valuable prizes. These prizes are designed to reward creativity while supporting local  businesses and amplifying their sustainability message.

OTWO and GFSB encourage all businesses in Main Street and beyond to take part in next year's  competition. Participation is completely free, provides excellent marketing opportunities, and offers  businesses a chance to place sustainability at the centre of their public engagement efforts.

We are immensely grateful to every business that entered this year's competition and helped make it  another successful celebration of World Environment Day. The creativity, innovation, and commitment  demonstrated by participants continue to inspire the wider community and reinforce the importance of  building a more sustainable future for Gibraltar.

As we celebrate another successful year, we look forward to seeing even more businesses embrace the  challenge in 2027 and continue the conversation around environmental responsibility, innovation, and  sustainable business practices.
