Mini Libraries At the Beaches

Gibraltar Cultural Services (GCS), on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, has launched a series of Mini Libraries across Gibraltar this summer.
The initiative will begin at the Europa Pool Complex, GSLA Bathing Pavilion, Sandy Bay and Camp Bay, where members of the public will be able to discover free Mini Libraries stocked with books for all ages.
These hand-painted bookshelves, decorated beautifully by GCS staff, will offer residents and visitors the opportunity to take home a free book to enjoy over the summer, while also providing a convenient space to donate pre-loved books for others to discover and enjoy.
The aim of the initiative is to encourage a culture of reading, promote book sharing within the community, and make literature more accessible throughout the summer months. The Mini Libraries are open to everyone.
GCS encourages the public to support the initiative by borrowing, reading and sharing books.
