The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).
The 2015 edition of the annual Careers Fair, organised by Bayside School, the Gibraltar College and Westside School, will take place on Tuesday 24th February 2015 at the Tercentenary Hall.

Team Manager Nadine Gonzalez organised a number of events to raise funds including cake stalls and a raffle. The team had raised £900 through these events alone before deciding they would walk through town to boost their total.
The Gibraltar Health Authority has just published its Annual Report covering the events of the two years 2012 and 2013. The report, which is edited by Director of Public Health, Dr Vijay Kumar, covers the activities of the Authority during the period, and provides a number of health related statistics.
RGP Commissioner Eddie Yome has welcomed the fact that, in agreement with His Excellency the Governor, the Chief Minister, invoking powers under Section 15(1)(a) of the Police Act 2006, has requested a factual enquiry on the allegations made against RGP Officers, and the force as a whole, following a recent selection weekend.
