The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).
The Commissioner of Police, Eddie Yome, will next week be travelling to the Greek capital of Athens where the European Association of Airport And Seaport Police (EAASP) will be celebrating its Annual Conference. Commissioner Yome is the President of the European Association and also President (Designate) of the International Association (IAASP).
The GHA is introducing a new vaccine against Shingles.
The Shingles vaccine will be available to all persons at the Primary Care Centre during their 70th birthday year, or, if older than 70, on their 79th birthday year. The vaccine is given as a one-off dose and does not need to be repeated.
