Apr 15 - Gibraltar Sports And Leisure Authority Launches Playground Hotline
Following the success of the Parks and Playgrounds Maintenance Programme, the Minister for Sports, Steven Linares, is pleased to announce that the Gibraltar Sports and Leisure Authority (GSLA) has set up a playgrounds hotline. This hotline can be used by the public to report faults or offer suggestions for improvements to facilities. Gibraltar Cultural Services on behalf of the Ministry of Culture was pleased to organise an “Art Attack” trip to Malaga recently.
The Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Joseph Garcia, has told Members of the European Parliament that the exclusion of Gibraltar from EU civil aviation legislation would be “illegal” and “contrary to the Treaties”. Dr Garcia is in Brussels on a lobbying visit in order to increase awareness among key MEPs about Gibraltar issues.
