Nov 25 - UK Cabinet Minister Congratulates GFA on Slovakia Draw Success
The UK’s Culture Secretary Maria Miller this week congratulated the Gibraltar Football Association on the National side’s 0 – 0 draw with Slovakia last week, in their first official match as a UEFA recognised team. The Daily Mail today reports that Ms. Miller ‘taunted Spain by hailing a ‘historic’ match played by Gibraltar’s football team last week’.
The body of a 73-year old British man was this morning found floating in the La Alcaidesa Marina in La Línea.
The Royal Gibraltar Police is aware of public concern regarding an individual who had reportedly attempted to enter a number of residences in Gibraltar in the last week.
