ygtvFollowing the great success of their educational Edible Bed, which was created last year by a group of children from Bishop Fitzgerald Middle School, the Gibraltar Botanic Gardens will be running another after-school Gardening Club at The Alameda from January 2014.  The Gardening Club will be open to middle school children (8-12 year olds) and will run on Tuesdays afternoons from 4pm until 5pm, starting on January 28th 2014.  It will be based in the Natural Learning Centre at The Alameda.

Jan 08 - Maika Barbero Returns to the Rock on Her Debut Tour

newsFamed Spanish pop singer, Maika Barbero, who previously performed at the Miss Gibraltar 2013 pageant, will return to Gibraltar on 24th January 2014 for a live concert with her band. Maika rose to fame in last year’s edition of Spanish talent show ‘La Voz’, and reached the final four contestants.

The performance will be part of her 2014 tour, presenting her debut album ‘No Return’. The record is made up of eleven original  ‘pop-rock’ tracks. Nine of Maika’s singles are written and performed in english.
