The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, today met with the Foreign Secretary, Rt Hon Lord David Cameron, at the Foreign Office in London in order to discuss the outstanding issues and matters in the ongoing negotiation with the European Union in relation to Gibraltar.
As from the second quarter of 2015, customers of both AquaGib and the Gibraltar Electricity Authority will receive their utility bills together in one envelope, with one for water consumption and the other for electricity consumption.
This week the members of the Gibraltar Port Authority are attending IP Week events in London in order to promote Gibraltar’s services to senior representatives from the oil and gas industry. The event also allows Gibraltar Port Authority representatives, including Minister Paul Balban and Albert Isola and Captain of the Port, Commodore Bob Sanguinetti to attend the IBIA Gala Dinner.

The Opposition says that the announcement last week in Parliament that the shares formerly held by the Slovenian entity in Gibtelecom had been purchased by the Gibraltar Savings Bank “raises important questions which directly relate to the concerns raised by the Opposition in relation to the state of our public finances.”
