Jul 08 - Gibraltar House Staff Take Part In Charity Skydive For Calpe House
Two members of staff at Gibraltar House in London are planning to throw themselves out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft at 15,000 feet in order to raise funds for the Calpe House Appeal.
Faye Burfoot and Edwina O’Mahony will each take part in tandem skydives which will involve a full minute of freefall and which will reach speeds of around 130mph.
The jumps will take place on the morning of Saturday 20th August near Seville.
Faye and Edwina are hoping that Gibraltarians will sponsor them in their fund-raising attempts for the Calpe House Appeal.
Donations to the Appeal can be made via bank transfer to:
Account: The Friends of Calpe House Bank: The Gibraltar International Bank Sort code: 60-83-14
Account No: 06569001
Reference: Skydive
Or cheques (made payable to The Friends of Calpe House) sent to Edwina or Faye at: Gibraltar House, 150 Strand, London, WC2R 1JA.
