GCS Supports Young Enterprise Groups Collectify and Tunnel Vision

Gibraltar Cultural Services (GCS) on behalf of the Ministry for Culture is once again supporting this year’s Young Enterprise Scheme. Group’s Collectify and Tunnel Vision have both engaged with GCS seeking support and further promotion.

Collectify has created an imaginative and educational card game that showcases notable people, places and landmarks of Gibraltar. Designed to spark interest in the Rock’s history and cultural heritage, the interactive collectors’ game aims to celebrate community figures and sites of significance in a fun and engaging way. GCS is keen to support the team’s creative vision and dynamic energy, which align with its commitment to promoting cultural awareness and community involvement.

Tunnel Vision draws inspiration from a shared concern that aspects of Gibraltar’s rich history and language are being lost. In response, the group is developing a project that revives and preserves some lesser-known stories. Using reclaimed wood, the team crafts coasters featuring local history, heritage and culture, transforming them into accessible tools for learning and reflection. Their sustainable approach blends creativity with purpose, promoting heritage conservation in a meaningful format.

Gibraltar Cultural Services’ Chief Cultural Officer Seamus Byrne, who connected with both teams, commends them for their innovation, enthusiasm and dedication to cultural enrichment. GCS remains committed to nurturing young talent and supporting projects that celebrate Gibraltar’s identity, heritage and future.
