Two Former Royal Gibraltar Police Officers Charged For Court

Two former Royal Gibraltar Police officers will appear in the Magistrates’ Court tomorrow after being charged with several data protection offences.
A statement from the RGP follows below:
Robert McKinnon, 39, Montagu Gardens, was charged with two counts of Unlawful Obtaining of Personal Data contrary to section 175 (1)(a) of the Data Protection Act 2004.
Anthony Bolaños, 37, of Mons Calpe Mews, was charged with two counts of Unlawful Obtaining of Personal Data contrary to section 175 (1)(c) of the Data Protection Act 2004 and one count of Unlawful Obtaining of Personal Data contrary to section 175 (1)(a) of the Data Protection Act 2004.
Both men were charged after surrendering to their bail this afternoon at New Mole House Police Station.
The offences date back to November 2022.
The men will appear before the Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning (Thursday 14).
