Come In Leon, a band which split in 2015, are back together for this year’s MTV Presents Gibraltar Calling festival.

Their album 'Sugar In The Ashtray' released in 2011 brought a nice fusion, funk and diverse sound to the Rock. The band reunites on the fifth-year anniversary of the passing of one its key members, Jay Alman. The band are sure to do him proud this coming September at Gibraltar Calling music festival by performing a vast array of material written by Jay himself.

“For us as a band it is all about paying tribute to Jay and we can't wait to show Gibraltar what aces we have up our sleeve,” said Allan.

Allan Alman, the band's lead vocalist, is a true staple of the local music scene and his hard work at Rock on The Rock has made the club the place to be for musicians and music aficionados to enjoy live music from some of the Rock's best.

Allan's hard work goes beyond the club - he has constructed and built rehearsal spaces so that bands and artists have a place to practice. In late 2015, Allan was awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) for his services to the local music scene.

Come In Leon also includes Danny De Lara and Steene Busto on guitars, Tristan Howes on bass, Kevin Peach on keyboard and Christopher Osborne on drums.
