Feb 19 - Santos Productions Announces Workshops With Vocal Coach Leontine Hass
Santos Productions is organising a number of Weekend Workshops with Leontine Hass from 14th -17th March. Leontine is a world-renowned vocal coach whose students have performed in London’s Top Shows. She also works as a Vocal Coach for ITV and BBC in programmes like “The Voice” and “Surprise Surprise”. She will be coming to Gibraltar to hold some workshops on different singing styles and techniques including Pop and Musical theatre.
This weekend workshop is supported by the Ministry of Culture. Classes will be held between the 14th–17th March and are open for children aged 8 and over.

Leontine Hass (BA, Melb. Uni, BMus. Kings College London, Dip. RAM) is a renowned Vocal Coach and Director of The Associated Studios and WAM.Co (The Word and Music Company).
Leontine has a busy private practice comprising professional singers and recording artists. Her students have performed as leads and ensemble in Tell me on a Sunday, Thriller-Live, Oliver, Carousel, Parade, The Lion King, Caroline or Change, Been So Long, Phantom, Witches of Eastwick, Nine, The Wizard of Oz, Ragtime, Sweeney Todd, Cats, Sister Act, We Will Rock You, Footloose, Wicked, Ragtime, The Sound of Music, Ghost, The Bodyguard, Jesus Christ Superstar, Jersey Boys, Barnam, Book of Mormon, We Will Rock You, Spamalot, Rent, The Colour Purple, Chicago, The Swingle Singers, ENO, Welsh National Opera and ROH, as well as Pop/Rock singers.
Leontine teaches workshops and lectures internationally on singing, voice and performance. She is frequently asked to rehabilitate a singer’s voice after surgery, or as surgery prevention. She has taught at leading Music/ Drama Schools including GSA Conservatoire, the Oxford School of Drama, Mountview, The Brit School, La Salle (Singapore) and The VCA (Melbourne). Leontine is vocal consultant to various music management and production companies and has acted as vocal consultant for ITV and ‘Surprise, Surprise’. Leontine is consultant Vocal Coach for Series 3 Tour of ‘The Voice’ for BBC TV. She is the regular Voice Clinic columnist at voicecouncil.com. She is a contributor to ‘The Singer’s Complete Guide to Vocal Health’ (Oxford Uni. Press), by Prof Anthony Jahn, consultant laryngologist to The Metropolitan Opera and The Juilliard School. She is advisor and contributor to ‘The Ultimate Guide to Singing’ published by TC Helicon.
In her capacity as Artistic Director of The Word and Music Company, Leontine facilitates and devises the development of new writing in plays, musical theatre and opera and with WAM.Co is currently producing three major shows.
