The third series of Gibraltar: Britain in the Sun has been commissioned by Channel 5 and filming is set to being this month, with the crew heading to the Rock at the end of this week for 3 months of filming.

Towards the end of the 2^nd season, which was broadcast on Channel 5 in January and February earlier this year, the show was hitting the 1.21 million-viewer mark. The show has proved amongst the most popular of recent Channel 5 series with repeats of season 1 and 2 being shown currently.
