Officers of the Crime and Protective Services Division have seized a substantial quantity of tobacco valued at approximately £110,000. The tobacco was seized from a store within Francis Building. Four brands of tobacco, Ducal, Elyxir, Winston and Chesterfield make up the total 700,000 cigarettes seized.

Allan joins KPMG with considerable expertise in the insurance consulting field. He has worked for the past five years as an independent consultant with a particular focus on Solvency II, corporate governance and risk management in the life and non-life insurance industries, mostly in London. Allan joins KPMG from the Bank of England’s Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) having worked in the supervisory team ahead of Solvency II going live on 1 January 2016.

The ESG says that it is concerned following a report in the Gibraltar Chronicle according to which free Wi-Fi will soon be provided at St Bernard’s Hospital.
