The GSLP/Liberals say they have reacted to the GSD's “attempt” at an environmental policy with “huge amusement”. The party says that the GSD “seem to have been away from Gibraltar” over the past few years and not realized what has been going on, adding that their plans “lack all originality.” The party says that, “as if that were not bad enough, it is full of contradictions.”
The GSLP-Libs have said that it is clear that the GSD “are on a different wavelength to the rest of Gibraltar or that they have existed in a world of their own over the last four years”. This, says the party, is reflected in their latest comments on political and democratic reform.
The Government has said that it is clear that the GSD “have still not understood” the role and function of Credit Finance “regardless of the number of times that this is explained to them.”
The Environmental Safety Group (ESG) has published its latest election “Wish List”. The group has been creating wish lists since 2003 and has produced substantial updates at each election.
The GSD says that a “slip” at the last Development and Planning Commission meeting has led them to discover that the developers for the former site of the Risso Bakery have obtained funding from Credit Finance Company Limited.
