The GSD Opposition says it has received complaints from tenants at Resolution House in Laguna Estate about the lack of concern for the health and safety of residents during the refurbishment works within their housing estate.

The plan to issue cross-border workers with a special pass that would allow them to use the red lane to “fast-track” their transit though the Gib-Spain frontier has been described as a total failure after it was revealed that only 100 workers have signed up. This would only represent a tiny fraction of the thousands of workers who cross over every day.
Tomorrow’s meeting of Parliament has been adjourned for 9.15am next Thursday as the Chief Minister is unwell and the Deputy Chief Minister is attending meetings in Brussels.
