Aug 23 - Nominations For The Queen's Birthday Honours List 2017
State Honours nominations for Her Majesty The Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2017 are requested to be submitted no later than 10th October for consideration by the Gibraltar Honours Board.
British Gibraltarian and United Kingdom Citizens from all walks of life are eligible to be nominated for a State Honour. Citizens of other countries can be nominated for Honorary State Honours.
State Honours are given in recognition of paid or unpaid meritorious achievement and/or service which have been of outstanding benefit to Gibraltar and its People as judged against the rigour, duration and impact of the nominee’s achievement and/or service.
Nominations, which will be considered in strictest confidence, should be submitted on the Honours Nomination Form – a copy of which and guidance as to how it should be completed can be obtained from the Convent Website www.convent.gi or Main Entrance Security Post – as follows:
