Feb 14 – Moroccan Workers Association “Shocked” By Treatment Of MoD Worker
14 February 2017
The Moroccan Community Association (MWA) says it is “shocked” by recent events unfolding in the Ministry of Defence, in particular the treatment of Mr Said Es-Salek who, due to a language barrier, will not be permitted to carry out his job at RAF Gibraltar once the MT Garage is transferred to its new location.
A statement continued: “We thank Unite the Union for raising this issue and call for the MoD to reconsider its position, which we feel questions the MoD’s long history in leading on equality and diversity issues.
“We stand shoulder to shoulder both with Unite and Mr Es-Salek and offer our solidarity and assistance as required.”
