MSC Preziosa made its inaugural call to Gibraltar on Sunday 15th October 2017. She is a Fantasia class cruise ship owned and operated by MSC.

She is 332.00 metres in length, has a gross tonnage of 139,072GT and a capacity for 4345 passengers and 1370 crew.

MSC Preziosa entered service in March 2013. She was christened by her godmother Sophia Loren, also godmother to the vessel’s sister ship MSC Divina.

She has 18 decks, seven restaurants, twenty bars, four swimming pools, an extended shopping mall, a bowling alley and a gymnasium. The theatre accommodates up to 1600 guests.

Representatives from the Gibraltar Tourist Board, the Gibraltar Port Authority and local shipping agents Maritima attended the now customary ceremony where an exchange of plaques took place with the staff captain of the vessel.
