Apr 04 - Jonathan Patron Flies Gibraltar Flag At The Commonwealth Games

Pistol Shooter Jonathan Patron has been selected to carry the Gibraltar Flag at the opening ceremony of the 21st Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast, Australia. This is Jonathan’s 4th games having made his debut in 2006.
Jonathan said: “It’s a fantastic achievement to be selected to carry the flag for both me and my family, Gibraltar has a small but dedicated team here on the Gold Coast with many worthy candidates in our mist, it’s an honour.”
The ceremony will take place at the Carrara Stadium and will be broadcast live to millions around the world, and kick’s off 12 days of competition across numerous sports with Gibraltar competing in seven.
