Apr 25 - Cancer Research Promotes Football Shirt Friday Campaign
Cancer Research UK Gibraltar Branch will be promoting the 'Football Shirt Friday' campaign on Friday 27 April to help raise funds and awareness for bowel cancer.
This campaign is linked to the Bobby Moore Fund and is a day for football fans to wear their football shirts to work, take a picture and support bowel cancer research.
A premium line has been set up by Gibtelecom where you can donate over the phone. Alternatively donations can also be collected on the day.
A spokesperson said: "We would welcome if you could take a photo supporting Football Shirt Friday and either send it via email to [email protected] or post on our Facebook Group (Cancer Research UK Gibraltar Branch). Why not make this day a ‘Dress down Friday’ wear your football shirt, donate £2 and support life-saving research. We hope to see as many people as possible supporting this campaign!"
