Guy Fawkes Bonfire Night

Gibraltar Cultural Services and the Gibraltar Scouts Association are delighted to announce the return of Guy Fawkes Bonfire Night.
A statement from the Government follows below:
On behalf of the Ministry of Culture, both organisations are inviting the community to form part of an extraordinary evening filled with excitement and fun. The event will be held at Little Bay Car Park on Tuesday 5th November 2024 between 7pm and 9.30pm.
The event will include a competition for the ‘Best Guy’, entertainment and food stalls. The organisers encourage the community to get involved and celebrate this tradition by producing a ‘Guy’. There will be a participation fee for every guy submitted, with all proceeds donated to the GBC Open Day.
Minister for Equality, Employment, Tourism and Culture, the Hon Christian Santos GMD MP said: ‘As part of my vision for Culture, I would like to ensure that we continually revive and celebrate Gibraltar’s traditional events for everyone to enjoy. I encourage as many youth, cultural, sporting organisations and businesses to produce a Guy and that in that way we can ensure that such traditions are never lost.’
More event details will be released in due course.
