Visit Gibraltar Welcomes Travel Weekly journalist

The Minister for Tourism has welcomed Travel Weekly journalist Rhodri Andrews, who will be preparing a feature on Gibraltar as a tourist destination this week.
Visit Gibraltar has collaborated with Mr Andrews to plan a full itinerary to experience the Rock’s touristic offerings and to meet key people in the travel, hotel, tourism, cultural, heritage and sustainability sectors.
The Minister for Tourism, Christian Santos, said: “This feature is important to Gibraltar as Travel Weekly is an award-winning business magazine and online news provider for the UK travel industry with a wide-reaching distribution. The schedule prepared by the Gibraltar Tourist Board will give Mr Andrews an extensive insight into the positive and varied offerings our tourist sector has. This not only includes visits to physical sites, but also a taste of our culture, heritage, history and gastronomy, and I am confident Gibraltar, with its natural beauty, warmth of its community and atmosphere will speak for itself.”
