Chief Minister Engaged In Series Of Meetings In Madrid

The Chief Minister Fabian Picardo is in Madrid this week for various meetings across the political spectrum, explaining the Gibraltar view with regards to the ongoing negotiations for our future relationship with the European Union and other matters.
A statement from the Government follows below:
The Chief Minister has already met with Comisiones Obreras (CCOO), Spain’s largest trade union, to discuss the vital importance of a mutually beneficial agreement that protects the rights of cross-frontier workers.
Gibraltar continues to work in good faith to resolve all final outstanding issues in a manner acceptable to all sides.
