Citizens Advice Bureau To Host Volunteers Week

The Citizens Advice Bureau is hosting Volunteers’ Week 2025 from 2nd – 8th June 2025 under the inspiring theme: “Volunteers Make Waves.” This theme highlights the far-reaching impact of volunteers and how a single act of kindness or a long-term commitment can set off a ripple effect, creating positive change well beyond the initial moment.
A statement continued: “At Citizens Advice, as with many other charitable organisations, we are deeply reliant on the remarkable dedication and passion of our volunteers. They are the backbone of our services, without their tireless contributions, our work simply could not continue.
“Each year, during Volunteers’ Week, we take the opportunity to honour and celebrate these extraordinary individuals. Traditionally, we nominate one of our own volunteers for special recognition, but this year, we are broadening our scope. We aim to create a more inclusive celebration that brings together charities across our community, all of whom benefit from the invaluable efforts of their volunteers.
“In this spirit, Gibraltar Citizens Advice invites fellow charities to nominate a volunteer who embodies the spirit of selfless service and deserves recognition as Volunteer of the Year 2025. The award will be presented during Volunteers’ Week as a tribute to their outstanding contribution.
“We look forward to celebrating the incredible people who give so much to our communities, and we wish all nominees the very best of luck."
