New Year’s Celebrations 2026

Gibraltar Cultural Services (GCS), on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, has announced the programme of events for this year’s New Year’s Eve Celebrations organised by GibMedia.
A statement continued: “We will bring in the New Year as expected on Wednesday 31st December 2025 at Casemates Square from 10:30pm to 3am on Thursday 1st January 2026.
“GCS has been working closely with GibMedia to deliver an unforgettable evening of entertainment and celebrations. The night will feature live performances from the NY Collective, bringing a vibrant mix of top local talent and all the songs you love, perfect for dancing the night away.
“Adding to the excitement, Opera star Nathan Payas meets DJ Michael Crome, for one night only, where powerful vocals ignite with driving club beats. And to keep the party going until 3am, DJs No Limits will take over with a set packed full of hits to keep you moving!
“This year’s event will see the return of a fireworks display, reintroduced after careful consideration to enhance the celebrations and create a memorable experience for the community.
“The countdown, which will feature fireworks and confetti, will be hosted by James Neish and Miss Gibraltar, Julia Horne.”
Minister for Equality, Employment, Culture and Tourism, Christian Santos, said: “This year’s programme organised by GCS and Gibmedia will be sure to add to the festive spirit. Casemates Square lends itself once again to this special event for the community and we hope to see you there to celebrate with family and friends.”
