As part of his PhD research, Francisco Javier Fonseca Rengel, a researcher from Cádiz, aims to gather fresh, scientific insights into how languages are used across Gibraltar's institutional, public, and social domains.
Mr Fonseca is inviting members of the community to fill in the following anonymous survey (see link below) which takes about 12–15 minutes, and is open only to British Gibraltarians aged 18+ who were born in Gibraltar or have resided there for at least 16 years.
The survey has been approved by the University of Cádiz Ethics Committee. By proceeding, you confirm you meet the criteria and give your informed consent for your anonymised responses to be used for research purposes only.
Mr Fonseca thanks those who contribute to this his study which carries the title: “The study of the linguistic landscape from a sociocultural approach: the case of Gibraltar."
