Sunborn Gibraltar is now open to the public. The hotel is currently undergoing a soft opening phase, during which time the staff will fulfil a comprehensive training programme and the finishing touches will take place to the hotel interior. Further interior work will continue with the hotel’s Pearl Spa and Linen Restaurant – a Scandinavian fine dining restaurant with Asian influences, which is scheduled to open in June 2014.
The new five-star yacht hotel is opening with 144 high-specification guest rooms and suites complete with luxurious marble bathrooms, spacious interiors complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows, feature windows, private terraces and balconies. Room reservations can be made either online at the hotel’s website or via the telephone reservations line +350 2001 6100 (9am – 6pm Monday to Friday).
As well as the hotel, the top floor Sky Restaurant & Bar and Sapphire Bar, which is located above the yacht hotel’s grand entrance and lobby, are also now open to the public. To guarantee a table guests can call +350 2001 6500 to make a table reservation.

A focal point is the top deck, Sky Restaurant & Bar, which features a retractable roof and concertina glass doors, which opens both sides of the restaurant to the beautiful marina views, allowing guests to enjoy alfresco dining all year round.
Alongside the opening of Sunborn Gibraltar, the Finnish hotel developer is opening another yacht hotel in London, which arrives today in London Dockland and will open to the public in April. Operated by ISS Hotels Division, Sunborn London will offer a 138 room, four-star deluxe yacht hotel in the Royal Victoria Docks a short distance from Canary Wharf, Emirates Air Line, London City Airport, ExCeL London and the O2 Arena.
