Gibraltar will enter a “total social lock down” as from midnight on Tuesday in order to slow the spread of COVID-19.
The Chief Minister gave the following address at this afternoon’s press conference from Number Six:

The Government convened a meeting of core experts and Ministers last night to discuss the latest developments surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chamber And GFSB Thank Commercial Landlords And Ask Others To Act Now
The GFSB and the Chamber of Commerce have said that, following the welcome measures to assist businesses in the hospitality, leisure, distributive and catering sectors (including shops and general retail), announced by the Chief Minister on Monday this week, the trading environment “has continued to deteriorate.” Both organistions say that many businesses are experiencing a “full-blown crisis” with no clarity on how long this will last.
