The Gibraltar Football Association has succeeded in its action against FIFA in the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Prior Park College in Bath recently hosted the Gibraltar Rugby Club’s (GRC) U12’s tour. The club arrived on Wednesday and have a packed schedule, including a coaching session from Prior’s Director of Rugby, and former England player, Paul Hull.
The GFA says it has taken note of rumours appearing in social media regarding the recent international friendly between Gibraltar and Liechtenstein, suggesting that there were “odd decisions” taken during the game by the match officials and an “abnormally high volume of bets” placed on the game.
A £2.9 million Sports Annex and additional sporting facilities were officially inaugurated by the Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo in the presence of His Excellency the Governor Lieutenant General Edward Davis and Minister for Sport Steven Linares earlier today.
