    The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).

Dec 15 - Equality Minister Attends Committee of Commonwealth Parliamentary Women

samanth sacramento Minister for Equality, Samantha Sacramento last week attended meetings in London as part of her role on the regional committee of Commonwealth Parliamentary Women (CPW).

Amongst other things, this committee seeks to find ways of increasing female representation in parliament but, in this most recent meeting, there was also discussion of a CPW regional conference to be held in Gibraltar in February 2015.
