Unite the Union has reached an agreement regarding annual pay negotiations with Restsso Trading Co Ltd. All employees will receive a 2.5% increase to basic rates retrospective from the 1st of January 2014.
Financial Services Minister Albert Isola is this week attending the Bermuda Captive Insurance Conference along with a delegation from the Finance Centre Director including Director James Tipping and the senior executive insurance from Gibraltar Finance, Mike Ashton. Gibraltar's insurance regulator, Michael Oliver is also in attendance. This is the first time that Gibraltar will be represented at what is Bermuda's most important gathering of insurance companies and professionals and the visit has been coordinated with the Government of Bermuda and conference officials.
