Clubhouse Gibraltar has been extremely busy the last few months with a number of businesses helping out in their Charity Shop. Both PwC Gibraltar and Lloyds Banking Group provided teams of people to come in and help run the shop on different days, as well as update and refresh the Clubhouse Gibraltar selling page on Facebook to show some of the items for sale.
Christmas Jumper Day will be held on Friday 16th December to help raise funds for Save the Children.
The Annual Schools’ Carol Concert will this year be held on Thursday 1st, Friday 2nd, Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th December.
Bassadone Motors have donated a Honda PCX 125cc Motorcycle to the Convent Christmas Fair towards their fundraising effort for the Calpe House Charitable Trust.
Gibraltar’s Ivanhoe Charity Society celebrated their 30th anniversary with an exhibition that marked decades of support for local causes. The one-day event was attended by Minister Dr John Cortes who praised the charity’s ongoing work, as well as members of the committee and the general public. Cheques were presented to the Cancer Relief Day Centre for £1,100 and to the Calpe House Trust for £1,000.
