The Chief Minister Fabian Picardo was invited to speak at the UK Anti-Corruption Summit chaired by Prime Minister David Cameron in London today. On arrival at Lancaster House and, after passing through a tight security cordon, the Chief Minister was met by Hugo Swire, Minister of State at the Foreign And Commonwealth Office.
The Government says that, after public consultation, the Sustainable Traffic, Transport and Parking Plan recommended modifications to some bus routes in order to provide a “more reliable and more efficient service.” Number Six says that the changes to routes 4 and 9, and the introduction of the pilot route 6 announced on 14th April 2016 were made as trial pilot schemes adding that user feedback is being constantly monitored throughout the trial period and has been “largely positive.”
Childline Gibraltar will be hosting an information stall at the College of Further Education on Tuesday morning and at Bayside on Wednesday morning for Mental Health Week with the theme: “Relationships”. The Education Team have prepared leaflets aimed at educating the public on mental health issues particularly in children and young adults which focus on promoting better mental health. Childline says it encourages young people to have a chat and find out how they can help promote better mental health in and around the community.
The Gibraltar Heritage Trust, Environmental Safety Group and Gibraltar Ornithological and Natural History Society are reminding the general public to submit their feedback on the Views and Vistas consultation document published late last month.
