Local artist Mario Finlayson has donated one of his paintings from the “Rooftops” collection to the Miss Gibraltar Calpe House Appeal. The artwork is going out to public auction by sealed bids and has a reserve price of £2,000.
Ocean Medical Clinic is one of the many companies who have already come on board to support the Gibraltar National Team’s participation at the IDO World Dance Championships for the Performing Arts that will be held in October and November respectively.

The Miss Gibraltar campaign in aid of the new Calpe House appeal got a welcome boost this weekend with a donation by McDonald's. The Gibraltar branch of the international chain presented a cheque for £1,000 to the contestants as a “contribution to their fantastic work in aid of this worthwhile charity”.
Members of the public are invited to watch a Ceremonial Guard Mount outside the Convent at midday tomorrow Saturday 14 May. This will be the second ceremonial Guard Mount of 2016 and will be conducted by I Company of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment, accompanied by the Band and Corp of Drums.
