Feb 24 - Research By Gibraltar Museum Scientists Reveal The Importance Of Birds In Neanderthal Times
The Gibraltar Museum, along with collaborating scientists, have recently published two papers in the journal Quaternary International. The papers serve to highlight the international importance of the Gibraltar caves, such as Gorham’s and Vanguard, not only for Neanderthals but also for birds.

An exhibition about Gibraltar in the European Parliament was opened by the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia yesterday morning. It is designed to increase awareness among MEPs and officials about the issues facing Gibraltar in Europe. This is the third year in a row that such an exhibition has taken place.

The Royal Gibraltar Police is warning small to medium-sized businesses and anyone operating a PBX (Private Branch Exchange) system of an increased threat of PBX fraud. In this type of crime, fraudsters hack into phone lines and make premium rate calls costing thousands.
