One Month To Go: #OTWOChallenge

With just one month remaining, the countdown is on for the #OTWOChallenge. Dr. John Cortes, Minister for the Environment, Sustainability, and Transport, has been training over the past two months to cycle around Gibraltar in support of the GBC Open Day.
A statement from OTWO follows below:
His steady progress and commitment to each training session show his dedication to this meaningful cause.
Set for December 1st, the ride will begin at the Small Boats Owners Club on Coaling Island. To make the event accessible for all, participants can choose from three distance goals: 10 km, 30 km, or 50 km.
The community is encouraged to join Dr. Cortes on this journey to raise funds for the GBC Open Day charity. All registered participants will receive a branded bottle and a drawstring bag, all finishers will receive a medal. Additionally, seven trophies will recognize top performances in different categories.
While the route is flexible, OTWO team members will be available at the starting point to suggest safe routes. To confirm distances, participants should log their routes on the Strava app.
Registration for the event is open, and available here. Funds raised will support the GBC Open Day charity fund. For those who cannot participate in the ride, donations are welcomed through a dedicated GoFundMe link.
In addition to the #OTWOChallenge, two fundraising events will take place: • 9th November at ICC/Casemates
• 23rd November at Piazza
With support from local businesses, OTWO has put together a raffle featuring a hamper valued at £1,000, with all proceeds going to the GBC Open Day charity.
This initiative is proudly supported by SDL, AMA Services, and Aqua Gib, whose contributions make a huge difference in our fundraising efforts.
