RGP Appoints New Aide-De-Camp

A Royal Gibraltar Police officer has been selected as the force’s new Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of Gibraltar this week.
Inspector James Rodriguez was chosen by the Commissioner of Police Richard Ullger – with the approval of His Excellency the Governor Lieutenant General Sir Benjamin Bathurst.
The honorary role will see Insp. Rodriguez support and inform the Governor of police related events, ceremonies and policing matters.
James, who joined the RGP in 2012, is currently the Inspector in charge of the Operations Division (Uniformed Policing).
His first official duty since becoming the force’s Aide-de-Camp was overseeing today’s Long Service Awards at the Convent.
Insp. Rodriguez takes over the role of Aide-de-Camp from the RGP’s Inspector Craig Goldwin.
