Convent Christmas Fair 2025

The annual Convent Christmas Fair will take place on Thursday 27th November 2025 from 12:00 to 18:00 (doors will close at 17:30).
A statement from the Convent follows below:
This traditional seasonal event will be held in The Convent and is open to the public.
An entry fee of £2 will be charged, with free admission for children under 12. The admission fee and all other proceeds from the Fair will be donated to support three local charities:
-
Cancer Relief Gibraltar
-
GibSams
-
Supported Needs Action Group (SNAG)
To ensure inclusivity, wheelchair access will be available for attendees requiring assistance but must be pre-arranged through the Care Agency or St Martin’s School.
Visitors can look forward to a festive afternoon featuring a wide variety of stalls offering hair braiding, homemade goods, and Christmas gifts. A café will be serving hot and cold beverages, cakes, and other seasonal treats prepared by the Convent’s chef. The Red Cross will also be selling mulled wine and mince pies.
Father Christmas will make a special appearance from 14:00, accompanied by some of his helpers, before moving on at 16:30 to complete his many other tasks. At 16:30, the children from St Bernard’s Upper Primary School Choir will sing a selection of Christmas carols.
Mayfair on Main will excitingly have a hair braiding stand, and there will be a MAZ Photobooth for guests to enjoy.
Two exciting raffles will be held during the Fair. The first features a brand-new Honda SH Mode 125 motorcycle, generously donated by Bassadone Motors. Tickets are priced at £2 each.
The second raffle will be for a wonderful selection of goods and vouchers kindly donated by a wide array of companies in Gibraltar. Prizes include: Marks & Spencer vouchers; a voucher for Spirit of the Rock; a bottle of whisky; weekend use of a car from A.M. Capurro; MHBland travel; prizes from Light My Senses; vouches from the Eliott and Rock Hotels; food and drink hampers, and more. Tickets for the second raffle are £1 each.
In addition, there will be two silent auctions. The first auction will be for a Liverpool Football Club shirt signed by the 2023-24 Premier League-winning squad, kindly donated by Entain and framed by Face Frames Gallery, will be auctioned via silent bids. The shirt will be available for viewing on the day of the fair.
The second silent auction will be for two tickets, including hospitality, to any non-UK Champions League fixture from the 20th January 2026 to 6th May 2026. The winner will have the incredible chance to select tickets for any game, including the semi-finals. Travel and accommodation are not included in the prize.
