The next in the Gibraltar National Museum’s lecture series will take place this Thursday, 13th January, at the John Mackintosh Hall at 7pm. The speaker, Dr Jennifer Ballantine will give a lecture entitled “The Overlaid Past: The Politics of Space and Memory in Gibraltar’s ‘Doubling’ Street Naming Principle.”
Today marks exactly a year since the first dose of the vaccination against COVID-19 was administered in Gibraltar. This was the beginning of Operation Freedom, which to date has administered 108,577 doses of the vaccine to residents and cross-frontier workers.
The Government says it is very pleased to welcome PossAbilities and to have allocated the former St Martin’s School site for this purpose.
The Ministry of the Environment says it is concerned at the “continued problem of irresponsible dog fouling, including on beaches.”
