The Government says it has offered alternative accommodation to the Retreat Centre occupants at either the Emile Hostel for £ 20 a day or at the Sunrise Motel for £9.50 a week.
The Government is reminding the public that legislation published on 31st July* made it mandatory for face masks, and not plastic shields, to be worn in certain spaces such as on public transport, and by staff in hair and beauty salons, in restaurants including terraces and in retail shops. Establishments and employees covered by the legislation would be in breach of the regulations if they are found to be using shields instead of face masks.
The Information Commissioner has issued the Royal Gibraltar Police, with a fine of £5,000 in consequence of the unlawful disclosure of personal data, relating to approximately 40 individuals, in breach of data protection legislation.
The Government has said the statement by Together Gibraltar regarding the compilation of a list of those who took part in the recent GHA walk-out is “complete nonsense”. They say what has been compiled is a “health check-list and not a black-list”.
