In a long-planned operation, twenty-three British nationals have been repatriated from Morocco back to their homes in Gibraltar after being brought across the Strait in the RGP launch Sir Adrian Johns and the Port Authority launch, Admiral Rooke 11. A further three UK citizens are also being brought to Gibraltar so that they can travel onwards to their homes in the UK and Spain.

Today we commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE Day – perhaps not in the way we had planned and expected given the current situation but that will not stop us from taking a quiet moment to reflect on the service, courage and sacrifice of that greatest of generations to whom we owe so much today.
The Government has further relaxed the lockdown regulations relating to people under the age of 70.
