The Government of Gibraltar has announced it is working closely with Cirque du Soleil to create a custom-made Cirque du Soleil show which would be performed in Gibraltar for a period of approximately one month in the Spring /Summer of 2020.
The Ministry for Infrastructure and Planning will be embarking on a project that will enable the use of plastic bottles in certain building materials initially for use on the public highway. These include, but are not limited to, paving slabs or blocks, stamped concrete and kerb stones.
As part of its initiatives for sustainable, alternative travel and transport and in support for the environment and the “resounding wishes” of school children and their parents as part of the recent “Gib School Strike for Change” and “Parents for Future” the Ministry for Infrastructure & Planning has provided walking and cycling distance information to pupils of the new Bayside & Westside Schools.
Both the Chamber of Commerce and the Gibraltar Finance Centre Council have welcomed the appointment of Kerry Blight as the Financial Services Commission’s new CEO.
The Minister with responsibility for Financial Services, Albert Isola has today confirmed that last Thursday 12th September he granted his approval to the appointment of Mr. Kerry Blight as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC). Some 44 applications were received for the position.
