Jan 12 – Hassan Nahon Welcomes Call For Greater Preventive Care For Mental Health Issues
Independent MP Marlene Hassan Nahon says she welcomes the Mental Health’s Society call for greater preventive care for mental health issues, particularly those affecting children and young people. She adds that these concerns echo those she expressed in the recent parliamentary motion on local mental health services, and says she is pleased to see that these have been highlighted further.
The GSD has said that the explanations provided by the Government regarding the shortage of beds in the Hospital over the festive period “simply do not stack up.”
A total of 620 books were used to build the book Christmas tree at the entrance of the John Mackintosh Hall.
There is just over a week to go for the University of Gibraltar’s second Beacon Lecture which will be presented by Christian Hook.
