European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for ForeignAffairs José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels on Thursday 16th May.
The Times recently reported that Gibraltar based Gaming giant William Hill had been part of advanced talks to take over online gambling company, also based in Gibraltar, 888 Holdings. Since the report was released, shares in 888 have soared 24%. RTE claims that trading volumes have reached nearly five times the stock’s daily average.
Following heavy rainfall last night St. Joseph’s First & Second Schools have experienced substantial flooding.
