The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, today met with the Foreign Secretary, Rt Hon Lord David Cameron, at the Foreign Office in London in order to discuss the outstanding issues and matters in the ongoing negotiation with the European Union in relation to Gibraltar.

During questions to the Secretary of State for Armed Forces Mark Francois in Parliament yesterday Tory MP Nicholas Soames probed the Minister on military and civilian assets stationed on the Rock. In his response, Mr. Francois noted that there were 155 UK military personnel serving in Gibraltar currently, split between HQBF, The Royal Navy Gibraltar Squadron and the Windmill Hill Signal Station.
