A feature length French film about Gibraltar will be released in September. Entitled “Gibraltar” in France but marketed as “The Informant” internationally, the action movie is the creation of director Julien Leclercq.
The St Bernard’s Catholic Social Club celebrated its 66th anniversary on 20th August. The function was well attended by members and guests. Among those enjoying the traditional evening event were Ministers Bossano and Sacramento, the Mayor Tony Lima and Monsignor Charles Azzopardi.

La Linea Mayor, Gemma Araujo officially opened a service office aimed at assisting those whose business has been affected by extensive frontier delays caused by the current dispute between Spain and Gibraltar, yesterday.
Traders and business owners will be able to carry out a questionnaire, which will then be raised with authorities. The data collected will form a register allowing for officials to fully understand how badly businesses have been affected by cross border tensions.
