Deloitte Limited is hosting its annual Charity Spinathon on Saturday 15th October in aid of The Calpe House Charitable Trust.
The GGCA Committee is supporting the GGCA President, Wendy Cumming, in her upcoming 3 Peaks Challenge for RifCom, a local charity. RifCom’s main aim is to make a positive contribution to the impoverished region of the Rif Mountains in Northern Morocco and projects and initiatives are undertaken in education, health, sport, cultural exchange and environmental conservation. The GGCA has pledged a £350 donation to this cause.
A Young Adults Exchange Project between Finland and Gibraltar took place recently and its purpose is to improve active citizenship, social inclusion and equal opportunities for young adults who are recovering from mental illness.
Governor’s Meadow First School and Nursery held their own National Day Street Party last Friday 9th September in order to celebrate National Day and raise funds for Calpe House.
