The festive season at Ocean Village will arrive in style on the 30th November with Elsa from Frozen hosting a family event starting at 6pm. Elsa will perform the hit Disney movie song “Let it Go” and introduce the arrival of Father Christmas, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and crowd favourite: Olaf the Snowman.
The Minister for Sports, Culture, Heritage and Youth, Steven Linares, has wished the Gibraltar National Dance Team, led by Team Manager Wendy Garro, all the best of luck on behalf of the people of Gibraltar in their forthcoming participation at the international dance competitions organised by the International Dance Organisation (IDO).
Gibraltarian author M. G. Sanchez has just brought out a new novel entitled Jonathan Gallardo. Running to 320 pages, it follows the fortunes of a local orphan who, after being beaten up in a street fight, starts to hear voices in different isolated locations around the Rock. This is the second novel that M. G. Sanchez has published this year, having already brought out his darkly comic novel Solitude House in January.
The Gibraltar National Dance Team is all set to participate at the 2015 IDO World Championships, which will be held in Germany for the discipline of Show Dance, and in Poland for the disciplines of Modern and Jazz.
